The Vienna Baseball Foundation was founded in 1989 by the Vienna Little League to manage VLL funds with a separate Board of Directors and by-laws. The two organizations cooperate to ensure the most efficient fund-raising projects.

However, the Vienna Baseball Foundation is dedicated to furthering the interest of baseball in the larger sense, as well as assisting smaller community organizations in connecting with funding projects that would normally be difficult, if not impossible, to achieve at their scale.
